Here's a pic of a KG rack mounted on a V65 Sabre.
This rack with the KG specific mounting hardware is pretty much unobtainium.
Ignore the Hondaline trunk as these are pretty much unobtainium as well.

This first closeup pic shows how the angle bracket mounts from the KG rack
and bolts to the bottom of the side grab rail.
The right side mounts exactly the same way.

This pic show a better view of the angle bracket.
Note the little half-circle notch cut into it.
This notch assumes you have no desire to move your rear turn signals and
thus gives the necessary clearance.

This pic shows a closeup of how the side rail/arm bolts into the angle bracket
and the KG rack itself.
I don't recall the exact bolt size.
FWIW, I would use nylon lock nuts so this mounting mechanism doesn't loosen
up on you.

This pic shows how the side rail/arm attaches from the KG rack itself to the
frame of the V65 Sabre.
When picking up these racks off eBay or finding them in the salvage yard...
this part is probably the most difficult to integrate if you don't have it.
The arrows are included to provide some perspective as to the length of this
piece and how it bends.
What you don't see is how spacers were added to bolt it into the frame of the
V65 Sabre

As in the previous pic with the angle bracket, here's a pic of the side
rail/arm to give an idea of what this piece looks like when not attached to
the KG rack and the frame of the V65 Sabre.

Just like with the V65 Sabre above, the V65 Magna also has angle (or
C-shaped) brackets to mount the KG rack to the frame of the V65 Magna.
The inside of the bracket uses the same bolt that is used to bolt the
aluminum side rails into the frame of the V65 Magna.

<font size = +2>
Here's a pic of the side rail/arm that attaches from the KG rack to the frame
of the V65 Magna.
This piece is not as long as the one used on the V65 Sabre.
It also doesn't extend as far down.

Here's a closeup of the spacer used to mount the side rail/arm of the KG rack
to the frame of the V65 Magna.
A similar type spacer is used on the V65 Sabre.
The bolt through this spacer goes through the top of the shock hole.
